NEFNAI Culture and Core Values

NEFNAI brings together people on the African continent from different backgrounds and nurtures, transforms, improve, develop and build our shared attitudes premised on honesty, accountability, hard work, unity of purpose, selflessness and absolute patriotism for a new Africa.

We strengthen and promote our positive values of fairness, togetherness, adherence to the rule of law among others while purging ourselves from corruption, laziness, and all forms of sentiments of tribe, religion, regionalism and the likes.

Our goal is to see the generations coming behind, pick naturally the instinct to do good as that becomes the culture on the continent with core values as below:

INTEGRITY

We uphold absolute honesty and strong moral principles.

DIGNITY

We uphold and display our inherent value and quality of being worthy of honour and respect.

TRANSPARENCY AND INCLUSIVITY

We are completely open and frank in all our dealings and ensure inclusive participation in all our programmes, leaving no one behind.

ACCOUNTABILITY

We are completely open to public evaluation and will always accept responsibility for our policies and actions and will be answerable for resulting consequences.

HARD WORK

We work smartly and vigorously with maximum efficiency for maximum results. And encourage every African to aim at success through hard work and innovativeness.

GENDER EQUALITY AND FAIRNESS

We advocate for and ensure equal opportunities and rights for all regardless of gender or status.

OBEDIENCE TO LAW (The rule of Law)

We strictly adhere to and encourage all persons, institutions/organisations, Governments and their agencies on the African continent to adhere to all promulgated laws on the continent.

PARTNERSHIPS

We value working with relevant stakeholders, recognizing their potentials and values, and harvesting and deploying every resources appropriately for mutual benefits.

The loss/lack of true love of country above any other interest, obedience to laws and rules of one’s country, devotion to the welfare of one’s compatriots, the passion to selflessly serve one’s country and compete with other Nations as well as doing everything ultimately to bring glory to one’s country is the main reason for Africa’s rot and under development.

NEFNAI seeks and is determined to reverse this trend and put Africa on the part of a shining society with sustainable positive developments. The following are some of the strategies and programs used to actualize this goal:

  • Massive sensitization and enlightenments programs for the reformation of all African citizens so that they can arise and save their mother land by always doing the right thing first, themselves; insisting that the right thing is done wherever they find themselves at all times and joining forces with all meaningful people, groups, institutions/organisations to stand against all people, groups, institutions/organisations that are bent on destroying the countries of Africa.

  • Mobilisation of all men and women of goodwill on the continent and beyond on the platform provided by NEFNAI to support and be a part of this necessary struggle.

  • Mobilisation of all men and women of goodwill on the continent and beyond on the platform provided by NEFNAI to support and be a part of this necessary struggle.

  • Engagement of all stakeholders on the African project.

  • Support/promote the education of the African child.

  • Collaboration with governments and other partners towards ensuring a sterile Africa.

  • Support/promote the education of the African child.

  • Inculcation of patriotic values generally in the younger generation for sustainability.

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” These were the words of Nelson Mandela. Nothing can be truer. It won’t be wrong to say that over 70% of the developmental challenges facing Africa are not unconnected with the level of illiteracy on the continent. While other continents of the world like America, Europe, and even Asia have literacy levels of between 85-99%, Africa is the least with about 60%. In fact in reality there are countries on the continent where illiteracy level is higher than the literacy level.

The education of the African people must therefore be every African’s concern. In line with this, NEFNAI intervenes in this area as follows:

  • Identify school age children who are out of school in our areas of operation and enrol them in schools.
  • Sensitize members and the public on the importance of educating their children/wards.
  • Support in the provision of school infrastructure/equipment in areas of need on the continent.
  • Partner with other organisations and govt. agencies that promote this course.
  • Give all support and commitment necessary to raise the bar on literacy on the African continent.
